Questa casa é costruita in un paesino in collina in Repubblica Ceca e la dimensione e il suo carattere provengono dal contesto in cui si inserisce, un’ area in aperta campagna.
Lo spazio vitale della casa é aperto, definito solo dal rivestimento ed é connesso col paesaggio grazie ad ampie finestrature.
Lo spazio più caratteristico del progetto é lo studio abitabile, una galleria nel soppalco di legno lungo tutta la casa.
Questo ambiente viene incontro alla necessitá sia di un luogo utilizzabile come deposito sia di un “intimo rifugio” vivibile con vista sulle colline.
La casa é stata pensate strutturalmente come una cornice di legno e pannelli in alluminio. La costruzione in legno é visibile nell’ interno. La superficie delle pareti e del tetto é formata da placche in alluminio sia dal punto di vista esterno che da quello interno.
Il piano terra dellla casa é di 6 m x 18 m con areee costruibili in moduli di 3 m. La costruzione é stata stabilita su fondamenta di calcestruzzo che permettono alla casa di levitare sulla terra in tal modo da interferire con il paesaggi,o in termini di operazioni edilizie, nella minor misura possibile.
Alcuni aspetti ecologici sono:
- forma compatta con isolamento termale
- nessuna interferenza con il paesaggio originale
- 80% di energia rinnovabile
- pompa di calore,recupero
