La premiazione a Ferrara il prossimo 6 Giugno 2011
Si svolgerà a Ferrara, il 6 Giugno prossimo, la cerimonia di premiazione della VIII edizione del Premio Internazionale Architettura Sostenibile Fassa Bortolo.
Il Premio, istituito nel 2003 per iniziativa dell’azienda Fassa Bortolo, leader nel settore delle soluzioni innovative per l’edilizia, e della Facoltà di Architettura dell’Università di Ferrara, ha cadenza annuale e viene assegnato all’opera progettata da professionisti singoli o studi di architettura o ingegneria che meglio esprime i principi della sostenibilità su cui si basa la manifestazione.
In questa VIII edizione del Premio si è registrata la partecipazione di 150 iscritti di cui 67 per la sezione Opere Realizzate e 83 per la sezione Tesi di Laurea; nella sezione Opere Realizzate si sono iscritti progetti provenienti da ben 27 nazioni di tutti i continenti.
La giuria del Premio è stata presieduta anche per questa edizione dal Prof. Thomas Herzog ed è stata composta da 2 architetti stranieri di fama internazionale e riconosciuta esperienza nel settore, l’Arch. Francine Houben (Mecannoo architects, Olanda) e l’Arch. Francisco Mangado (Mangado y Asociados, Spagna), da un docente della Facoltà di Architettura di Ferrara, il Prof. Nicola Marzot e dal segretario del Premio, Prof. Gianluca Minguzzi.
Vincitore della Medaglia d’Oro 2011 è Hermann Kaufmann (Austria) con il progetto per i nuovi uffici amministrativi della Mayr Melnhof – Kaufmann mentre condividono il secondo posto il progetto di Peter Rich-Micheal Ramage (Sud Africa-UK) e quello del noto studio berlinese Sauerbruch Hutton (Germania).
